See your whole project in 3D before you sign
Before you commit to anything, we build a 3D model of your home and yard with the new pergola, deck, patio, kitchen and lighting in place, so you can walk through it, see it at night, and adjust it until it's right. This happens in our design and pre-construction phase, which follows your free consultation.

Most people find it much easier to decide when they can actually see the space. It's also the best way to catch something you'd want different while it's still easy to change.
Then we draw it up properly
Every Fig & Fern build comes with full architectural drawings and permitting. The drawings spell out exactly what's being built and how, and they're what we submit for permits with your city or county.
You know exactly what you're getting before the first post goes in, and so does the inspector.

Dennis walks your yard with you and takes measurements.
Design and pre-construction
Your full 3D design, day and night, plus architectural drawings. We adjust the design with you until it’s right.
Construction contract
A clear price for exactly what you saw, signed only once you’re happy with the design. Financing options can be included.
Permits and build
Permits and inspections, then construction and a final walkthrough.

Every design is shown in daylight and after dark, so you can see exactly how the lighting will feel.
